Glock's Homeland Security Program

     Being a law-enforcement officer, firefighter, paramedic or emergency medical technician, security officer, corrections or probation officer, judge and even a pilot is, as the old GI recruiting slogan said, "Not just a job - It's an adventure." Although developed for our military personnel, in today's war on terror this slogan holds true for all first responders. The "War on Crime" and the "Global War on Terror" have reiterated the need for all these professionals to be constantly ready. As true "first responders," they must train and prepare diligently for swift and skillful response. Being at the "Pointy end of the spear" exposes these professionals to daily risk. When agencies and individual first responders equip for the swift and accurate counter-violence that may be necessary to stop a deadly attack, they frequently select a GLOCK.

     In 2005, GLOCK's Law Enforcement and Military discount program was expanded to include other first-responders. The Homeland Security Program provides a discount and additional magazine for full-sized and compact models to any professional that fall within their "first responders" category.
All that is required to take advantage of the GLOCK Homeland Security program is for qualifying personnel to go to a GLOCK law enforcement dealer or contact a dealer in their area and provide proof of employment or certification in the eligible first-responder field. The program provides personnel with quality pistols that will enable them to safely do their jobs, and reward them for their service.

• All sworn LEO (Law Enforcement Officers) State, County and Local
• All Federal LEO - F.B.I., U.S. Marshals, DEA, et cetera
• All Corrections Officers, including Parole and Probation Officers
• All retired LEO with "retired" credentials including Federal, State, County and Local
• State Licensed Security Companies
• State/City Licensed Security Officers
• Active Military - all branches
• Military Reserve Personnel - all branches
• Honorably retired military veterans with "retired" military I.D.
• All T.S.A. employees
• Licensed Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians
• Firefighters (including volunteer fireman) with appropriate I.D.
• Commercial Pilot license holders and Federal Flight Deck Officers
